Behind the ski lodge is Mount Stilwell, on a shortish walk of 2 hours along a range, with superb views.
Later we saw the moon above the range and a spectacular sunrise the next morning.
We have been so lucky with the weather this week.
On the way home, a stop at a freeway rest point carried a stern warning, on the footpath!

Our local gallery , Hazelhurst, run by the council, hosted the year 12 indigenous art display which opened on Sunday with appropriate indigenous dances in Aboriginal costume . There were about 4o entries on display, all very good and some were for sale. The ones we liked had already been sold unfortunately.
