recent news April 25 2025 Anzac day

I got up at 3.30am (!!) to go to the local ANZAC parade with the scout group then went on to Woronora with the kayak to paddle with 13 others to the Needles.

Misty start bit very still and a pleasant temperature.

Mary has had screws removed from right foot and a bit more bone shaved, so again relatively immobile for anything except 'house pottering'.

Mike and Kris are in Sydney with about 14 relatives who have been staying with them for Easter. They managed to drop in with Lachie and Harry today. Opportunity to introdce Lachie o a kayak.

Both very happy boys. Lachie's playgroup has been taught how to clear up toys after use -excellent idea!

In other medical news I have been prescribed flourouracil cream for the sun damaged skin on my face. A treatment almost worse than the disorder.

Mary has minor plastic surgery for a nose skin cancer. Specialist appointments across a wide range of the medical dictionary are now 'common' also amongst our friends.  Ho Hum......
