In perfect weather Mary and myself set out from Wally's Wharf and went into Bate bay, passing the well-known 'architect house' at Salmon haul, to see the house undergoing it's first major renovation.
One of the Bundeena ferries has been painted blue, in honour of the Sharks win.
We noticed a pontoon pile being placed at a waterfront house--but the replacement pile is a roughly-hewn tree trunk. Is this a sign that the wealthy, large boat-owners are having a hard time maintaining their properties? It certainly looks a bit weird.
