Engagement!............... and travel
Michael and Kris announced their engagement while holiday in the Philippines so we had a family lunch on their return and a walk by the sea. On the travel front, all being well, we plan to be in the UK between September 29th and 13th November, mainly for two reunions.

Agnès 50th party on the river!
Last night we joined about 40 people on a Cqptain Cook river cruise to celebrate Agnès Marcel's birthday, organised as a surprise by her husband Brice. Their daughter Anaïs was there too, from Cairns. It was a very jolly, noisy and happy affair and the food and cakes

Christmas Day was at Alison and Craig's house. We also went to Darook Park on Boxing Day, by the sea, where Michael showed the size of a fish he nearly caught, or something!

Nan's 98th birthday party
Ivy Head 98th Birthday party in 2002, as seen through the eyes of her great grandaughter Jessica. It took place in Percy Miles retirement villas. The family are present, some neighbours and friends of Nan and the manageress Elizabeth can be seen near the end. -------

Mary celebrated her birthday by climbing on to Michael's motorbike, complete with champagne in hand! My bike is the 15 year old hand-me-up pushbike of Michael's youth, in the background. Alison and Craig made a splendid cake, the daughters bought earings and after lunch
