Sunday May 8th marked our 40th wedding anniversary as well as Mothers' Day (in Australia). To celebrate, Mary and I packed a picnic lunch and paddled to 'Point Danger' (!?) on the Hacking River, to a small reserve maintained by NPWS. We unpacked our champagne and slamon rolls

We went to Caryl and Will's house for a swim and barbeque. I tested my Canon Lumix for underwater function--worked very well! Caryl made a 'brown snake' cake for Tom to be reminded of the friendly creatures in Australia!

This was a barn dance held at the scout hall, complete with hay bales and cut out cows! Also, a niece and husband from UK and a couple of Spanish girls from Mary's ESL class, plus a heap of friends.
