Trip with Mary and friend Stuart

Stuart used a kayak he found on a clear-up and managed well considering he was without a rudder.

We went to the Basin again as it was ( a lowish, 1.38m ) HT at 9.00am. Weather was perfect and very little wind. We got to the end of the creek again. Mary was very pleased to get out on the water again too.

I manged to drop my supposedly waterproof camera in the shallow creek and Stuart found it. It's quite old and did leak water but the memory card is ok. The camera is now packed around with silica gel sachets and may still be useable . However I do have another of the same model a bit younger, so not a big problem.
