Water Street to Mainbar + Joey night
A beautiful day to explore the route to Mainbar - but only at high tide. The depth at the main ramp at Mainbar is ridiculously low. A half hour paddle and I found the café at Mainbar, had a chat with the locals and a coffee, then headed back.
The pics are leaving Water Street, Caringbah and leaving Mainbar--courtesy of a lady walking her dog at the time.
A young man on a builders' dredge boat saw me using the hullavator and said--"That's SO cool"!
IN the early evening , the Joey Scouts were treated to a visit by the Fire Brigade --very exciting for them--especially the 'jaws of life'.
