This magnificent bloom occurs on our dividing fence each August. During the rest of the year it grows annoying tendrils which reach out and tickle as you pass by the parked cars! and Mary's veggies!

For some time now, daughter Caryl has been attending art classes and developed a range of skills, including freehand sketching in pencil. As a project, she chose an early photographic early picture of me, drinking my NHS orange juice ! Rather good--don't you agree?

Recntly we went into the Royal National Park with Cayl, Will and a new friend --Ludivine, from Bundeena, to Robertson's Roundabout. We had intended to do them regularly but a long period of continual rain, high winds, impassable weirs and cold temperatures, delayed us.

Mary, Caryl and I walked from Wattamolla to Curracarrang along the coast track. At Curracorrang we found a track to a very picturesque waterfall and swimming hole. Unfortunately the track marked return to road w-could not be found and is apparently out of use so we returned the same

40th Wedding Anniversary and Mothers' Day
Sunday May 8th marked our 40th wedding anniversary as well as Mothers' Day (in Australia). To celebrate, Mary and I packed a picnic lunch and paddled to 'Point Danger' (!?) on the Hacking River, to a small reserve maintained by NPWS. We unpacked our champagne and slamon rolls
