We were blessed with fine weather so had our usual big turn out --5000 people or so. Every stall had either a genuine French territory stallholder or products . Very happy atmosphere--just like a real French market. The grounds of Taren Point Public School were packed with stalls for food,
Kayaking
We were lucky to avoid rain and enjoyed a 12km trip with about 13 kayakers. Muddy Creek (left) , surprisingly, proved easier to navigate to end rather than NW Arm. NW Arm seems much more developed with housing than KI remember from 20 years ago.
Australian Holidays
We are spending a week, from Good Friday, with family at Fingal Bay. The Saturday we swam and walked the Tomaree 'mountain' (161m) track to the lookout, giving a view over the whole peninsula. Monday we walked a very pleasant boardwalk track, at the southern end of Fingal

Another Friday where it DIDN'T rain on the trip--amazing. La Nina is certainly a change from El Nino and almost certainly more intense due to Global warming. Our daughter returned from the UK says she'll never complain about British weather again! Left Wally's

We set off from Tonkin Oval boat ramp, down Gunamatta Bay and up the river to Warumbul. Lots of interesting cross currents and an increasing wind which hit us head-on while returning along Gunamatta Bay; very demanding, but overall a good trip. It was Mike's first trip

Held at Scarborough Hotel on the S. Coast. A very pleasant setting outside by the sea. The weather was perfect. The first place I've been to where you get the menu, order and pay all on one QR code on the table. Very efficient.
