Scouting
It was very encouraging to see these young people run a well-managed AGM, with printed agenda and reports and go on to elect a full committee, committed to basic scouting activities. They are well set up for the year ahead.
Music
With such consistently high temperatures, our Thursday band has taken to having rehearsals outside, under the gum trees. So far we haven't passed the hat around the nearby blocks of flats!
Bushwalking
A cooler day and a morning walk with five others, to several rock pools and waterfalls from Hazelbrook, in the Lower Blue Mountains. It was under tree cover , damp but I only got one leech! Ergggg! The leader--Tracy, brought a delicious fruit cake to share--probably to entice us
Australian Holidays
With soaring temperatures , water is the only option. In Alision and Craig's pool and then a 'fashion shoot' of the 4 kids on the beach, showing their look-alike-Turkish towels .
Family
We repeated the pose of last Christmas, but in two locations in the garden this time.

This time a fellow clarinettist, Jill, who also does paddle boarding. Mary had intended to come but didn't feel up to it at last minute. Spotted another couple of good boat names.

One of the Sydney Bush Club walks--11 of us set off for this 13 Km walk over two ridges, passing a large monitor lizard, Jerusalem Bay with views of the Hawkesbury Bridges, to Brooklyn dam with a lovely lily pond display, thence to the pub at Brooklyn and train
