Engagement!............... and travel
Michael and Kris announced their engagement while holiday in the Philippines so we had a family lunch on their return and a walk by the sea. On the travel front, all being well, we plan to be in the UK between September 29th and 13th November, mainly for two reunions.

Last night we joined about 40 people on a Cqptain Cook river cruise to celebrate Agnès Marcel's birthday, organised as a surprise by her husband Brice. Their daughter Anaïs was there too, from Cairns. It was a very jolly, noisy and happy affair and the food and cakes

The operation is all behind me and the current weak right leg issues all predate the operation, but may have (unknowingly at the time) been caused by the aneurysm. The leg is much better now after some -necessarily painful-massaging by Mary. I am off all medications except aspirin. So

Following favourable reports from Dr Mcmullin and the physio team here, I will be driven home Friday morning by one of the OT's, who will also asses our bathrooms for handrails etc. I saw Dr Mcmullin yesterday. I had an U/S there which confirmed all blood flows
