A beautiful day to explore the route to Mainbar - but only at high tide. The depth at the main ramp at Mainbar is ridiculously low. A half hour paddle and I found the café at Mainbar, had a chat with the locals and a coffee, then headed back. The pics

Today 10 of us met at Bundeena wharf (some by ferry, some by car) to walk via the Bundeena foreshore, to the aboriginal rock carvings and along the coast for a few Kms. The carvings are very ancient and eroding --but visible enough. You have to look closeley at the

An Australian missionary family, the Lubbocks, on leave from their University base in Florence, were the excuse for a congregational meal together, together with illustrated talk, music and a quiz on Italy. The food was 'bellissimo' (!?)
