Michael and Kris announced their engagement while holiday in the Philippines so we had a family lunch on their return and a walk by the sea. On the travel front, all being well, we plan to be in the UK between September 29th and 13th November, mainly for two reunions.

The operation is all behind me and the current weak right leg issues all predate the operation, but may have (unknowingly at the time) been caused by the aneurysm. The leg is much better now after some -necessarily painful-massaging by Mary. I am off all medications except aspirin. So

Over a one-night stay with cousin John and Penny in Blackheath, we visited this historic house, about 150 years old, with some friends of theirs from their schooldays. The place has been upgraded for tourist information, including hologram presentations and audios describing the harsh punishments meted out to prisoners

5 days at a cabin/camp site on Jervis Bay, right by the sea, with all the family. We met a couple of young women on the each who were trying paddleboarding for the first time--one of them picking it up sooner than the other!

While Louis was at preschool today, singing a song for mothering Sunday (UK) , Jacqui was delivering Maximillian (Max) successfully at Stoke Mandeville hospital.
