Today about 15 of our own scouts (the pic with Kooka lying on the ground!) plus others left on a coach for Maryborough, Queensland for the Jamboree, for two weeks. There were many excited scouts and many over-anxious parents.
Bushwalking
Today we went on a bushwalk with the French Group along Lady Carrington Drive in the RN Park, in perfect weather. Some families included 3 generations, aged from 5 years to 'mature', as it is the right climate for Europeans to visit Australia. The pics do not show

Bushwalking
Today we visited Picnic Rock with the Parks, Prices and Mackays--and saw an amazing concentration of flying bugs in the valley, being swept upwards by the wind.

Daughter Caryl collected Mary and me this morning for a walk at nearby Cronulla then a 'dip' at our favoured rock pool --Oak Park. The water was 'freezing'at about 20Deg C!

Yesterday (Wednesday) we went with Alison and her family to her graduation from Charles Sturt University at Bathurst campus. Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) Honours.
