Today we took Agnès and her daughter Anaïs to Wattamolla and then walked towards Little Marley. We saw a small brown snake and there was a flurry of rain, which gave Agnès a chance to do a strange animal dance in a poncho, with my walking poles!

Today we went on a bushwalk with the French Group along Lady Carrington Drive in the RN Park, in perfect weather. Some families included 3 generations, aged from 5 years to 'mature', as it is the right climate for Europeans to visit Australia. The pics do not show

I thought I knew this area. Today we took UK friends Sandy and Norman to John and Penny's house, (where John made us tea and fed us cake), to see their 100 year-old mountain house, then on to 'Anvil Rock' where a real blacksmith anvil

At this time of year the flowers in the mountains are spectacular. John and I walked out to Hat Hill -part of the trailto Bald Hill. On the way we passed an amazing geological feature of ironstone 'tubes' encrusted with silica, found only elsewhere in Venezuala.
