First a couple of local beer labels! Yesterday we went to this castle near Newton Abbott. Amazingly it has been the home of the Gilbert family for about 500 years and the Gilbert descendants still live in it, still called Gilbert, with a large part now in National Trust hands.

London's trains are hugely popular--in spite of the cost of tickets. I often wonder what all the passenger groups are doing --it's all so hectic. There are staff on all the main line trains and on every journey our tickets have been inspected--often twice!
