Yesterday was mad! All except Jacqui and family departed at 8.30am for the Novotel in Annecy where Alison had booked the next night, to wait for Craig's discharge. We left their bags there. Rush to hospital (Michael had a flight check-in at 11.00am at Geneva)

Today we hired bikes in Annecy for a lakeside ride. All was well until after our lunch break at plage Joriot, with very few people around, when Craig came down a small bridge, braked and fell sideways onto his wrist. He was immediately in excruciating pain and unable to move.
